Imam Ali’s Sayings on Happiness and Putting the Joy in the Heart
Happiness opens up the spirit and stimulates vitality.
At times happiness becomes roiled.
Perhaps [the joy of] happiness may turn bitter.
Every joy [in this world] turns sour [eventually].
No one puts joy in a [believers] heart except that Allah creates a greace from that joy, so whevever any calamity befalls him, it (the grace) flows over it just like the flowing of water until it expels the calamity from him just as the unfamiliar camel is expelled from the group of camels.
