Bases of belief and patience according to Imam Ali (AS)
Imam Ali (AS) said: Belief is consolidated on 4 pillars of patience, certainty, justice and Jihad. Patience is also based on 4 pillars, desire, fear, devotion (to God’s ways) and expectation. The person who desires paradise his/her worldly wishes will be reduced. the person who fears the hell fire, will stay away from Haram (forbidden acts). A devout person will deal with the tragical events of life much easier and the person who is expecting death will rush to good deeds [1].
